A PAINTING ON CLOTH OF SHASTA PARASHVANATH, RAJASTHAN, 20TH CENTURY, depicting tirthankara Parashvanath sitting on a throne in meditation form, flanked by two mermaids with half-snake bodies, as attendants holding fly whiskers on either side and two ?apsaras? from the heavens holding flower garlands, sitting under a canopy of a king cobra with one hundred hoods.
